nike maxims – beaverton, oregon

nike employs an emergent strategy, “one that originates in the interaction of an organization with its environment." thus, the eleven written principles of nike is as follows: it is our nature to innovate. nike is a company. nike is a brand. simplify and go. the consumer decides. be a sponge. evolve immediately. do the right thing. master the fundamentals. we are on the offense – always. and lastly, remember the man. every year the company internally allows employees from retail to executives to vote on which innovated developments have had the most impact. but also most importantly, which represent these maxims the best. in order for employees to do so, they also needed a way to do so.
